Rev. Dr. Ronald O. King is an ordained Minister of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He holds Master’s degree in Human Services (Trauma counseling & Crisis Response) from Liberty University USA, Training in Critical Incidence Stress Management (UMBC) Baltimore Maryland USA, and Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc. honors) in Geography and Regional Planning from the university of Calabar Nigeria. He also holds a Post graduate degree in Christian education and Counselling from All Nations Christian Institute, Lagos and Doctorate in Pastoral Counselling from Canada Seminary. He is a licensed Diplomate Certified Psychotherapy Counsellor (D-CPC) and the pastor- in-charge of Counselling/Marriage Counselling in Glory Christian Ministries, Lagos, Nigeria and member of the International Network of Christian Counsellors (INC) USA.
Dr. Ronald is a resource person and a regular invitee to Radio and Television education, counselling and social programs around the country. He has written government approved books for schools especially in the area of ‘Career counselling’ and holds dynamic success seminars tagged ‘Excellence in Academics’ for students in secondary and tertiary institutions across the country. He has also designed corporate training materials for manpower development and stress management programs.
Dr. Ronald has worked in both the public and private sectors of the economy. He is a regularly invited speaker in conferences and a seasoned counsellor with local and overseas training and many years of experience. He is married with two children.
Martin Agoziem Akpaka, Esq, is the Principal Counsel and head of Chambers in the Lagos based law firm of MARTIN AKPAKA & CO. He studied Law at the University of Calabar and graduated in 1984. He was called to the Bar and admitted as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in August in1985. He has practiced with the firm of Zanda Izundu & Co (Solicitors), Enugu, (Leading External Solicitors for Union Bank) where he firmly got exposed in banking and Real Estate law. Appointed Company Secretary/Legal advisor to International Glass Industries Aba (1990-1991) and joined the Law firm of Messrs J. P. Davies & Co. where he took active part in the drafting of the Nigerian Shipping Policy (Implementation and Enforcement) Regulation; And the Nigerian Shipping Policy (Amendment) Act, 1993-1994. He was also the company secretary/Legal adviser and director of Alexander Williams Engineering Ltd from 1994 – 2005.
Barrister Martin is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association and engages in real Estate and Legal consulting; Corporate law services including Legal Due Diligence. He is also involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Services among others. He is a Committed Christian and a Certified Christian Counsellor. He is married with 4 children.
Rev.Dr. Zion Ibenye Solomon is a graduate of the Polytechnic, Abuja, the University of Abuja, The Advanced International School of Ministeries West African Regional Campus Jos, Nigera among many others and holds a Post-graduate degree in Public Administration. He is an ordained Minister of the gospel of Christ. Dr. Zion was the national secretary of ‘Nigeria Prays’ led by the former head of state, His Excellency Gen. (Dr.) Yakubu Gowon. He was the former resident pastor, World Harvest Church, Abuja and later the Senior Special Assistant to the chaplain to the president. He was also the immediate former Administrator of the Asso Rock Villa (Presidential) chapel, Abuja before his current position as the Federal Commissioner, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission.
Dr. Zion is a trained Counsellor and the vice chairman Marriage sub-committee, State House chapel. He is a man with many honours including a Doctor of Philosophy from the Apostolic Faith University, USA. Dr. Zion has written many books and he is also the Group Director, Commercials, Moreno Group Plc. He is married to Sister Eucharia they are blessed with Four (4) children.
Mrs. Lovett – M. King is an aviation professional and aircraft Cabin Crew Manager and Trainer with aviation trainings in Nigeria, the UK, France and South Africa. She holds degrees in Education Sociology, Human Resources and Counselling. She is a certified counsellor and has attended many counsellor-based trainings both at home and internationally including those organised by the Association of Christian Counsellors of Nigeria, the American Association of Christian counselors and Canada Seminary. Mrs. Lovett M. King is married with two children.
Rev. Dr. Ambrose Uzoma Opara is Diplomate Certified Psychotherapy Counsellor. He holds HND degree in Estate Management; PGD in Marketing and Phd; in Theology

Rev. Dr. Ambrose is a Chaplain with All Nations Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy Academy (Chattered Membership of National Chaplains Association, USA and Nigeria). He is married and blessed with three children.
The 59th Session of the United Nations started with the Civil Society Forum on the 5th of February 2021 and will end on the 17th of February 2021. The Civil Society Forum was well attended by civil society groups and None Governmental Organisations from all over the world. ThePriority Themefor the 59th Session is “Socially just transition towards sustainable development: the role of digital technologies on social development and well-being of all”.
The annual United Nations meetings usually holds in New York or Vienna for many other activities but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s programme held almost virtually which also gave credence to the priority theme (noted above). The Association of Christian Counsellors of Nigeria (Organisation in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council since 2017) is fully registered and in full participation in the various civil society activities and other Commission’s meetings.
