ACCNIG Membership Type

 

We believe that the work of Christian counselling and care-giving could be done Pastorally, Clinically and Professionally. Similarly, there are willing Lay pastoral counsellors who should be supported through appropriate training and mentoring. Hence, we are committed to equipping and educating these willing ones. Membership to the ACCNIG is completely voluntary. In line with the above, the following voluntary membership types shall exist:

 

Full Members
These are persons with certifications in the counselling and Christian counselling fields equivalent to a first degree and above, Proven pastors and ministers, Christian professionals holding first degrees and above, Christian professionals holding Memberships and Fellowships in their career areas, and such other persons as the board approves.

 

Associates Members
These are persons with certifications in the counselling and Christian counselling fields equivalent to a degree below a first degree, Christian professionals holding degrees below a first degree, Care-givers, Lay Christian counsellors, Lay pastoral counsellors and such other persons as the board approves.

 

Corporate Members
These are corporate entities and NGOs that are interested in the holistic Christian counselling field, and who partner and support counselling activities and may wish to utilise the ACCNIG platforms for visibility for their counselling related products and services.

 

Students Members
These are persons who are still undergoing training in schools and who are interested in the Christian counselling field.

 

Friends of ACCNIG
These are individuals or corporate entities that are interested and support what we do.
